Having signed-up as partners of the Volvo World Match Play Championship in March, it has been an exhausting eight months for the two senior members of the Finca Cortesín management, Javier Riveriego and Vicente Rubio. 

“When we agreed to participate in the Volvo World Match Play Championship, it was a well-reasoned marketing concept, and over the past nine months, we have been working internally and with our partners at Volvo and IMG to bring this great championship to fruition,” says Riveriego, the Director General of Finca Cortesín Golf Resort, adding, “We have invested all over the resort, on the golf course, in the hotel and we are very, very proud to see the players and the fans here.”

His colleague Vicente Rubio, Managing Director of Finca Cortesín Golf Resort and President of Finca Cortesín Golf Club adds, “Our owner and our staff must take a huge amount of credit for the effort they have expended and we are delighted with the quality of the field and of the championship overall.”
